Assembly steps:

  1. Make a trip to Home Depot/Lowes to purchase the parts and materials (1500 SW 8th St Boynton Beach, FL 33426)
    1. NOTE: Lowes has a a better selection when it comes to getting the specific lengths needed for the pipes
    2. If cuts are made to get desired lengths, make sure to have both sides threaded
  2. Return with materials and begin degreasing
  3. Follow instructions on degreaser to mix parts water and degreaser in a bucket
  4. Use a rag to dip into the buck and degrease all the parts. Sit them to dry on cardboard when done
  5. When done degreasing, either clean out bucket of water/degreaser mix and fill with clean water
  6. Wipe the individual parts again with a new clean rag soaked in clean water
  7. Set pieces to dry then begin assembly
  8. Before screwing pieces together, lubricate the threaded parts with the lithium grease and wipe off with a rag.
    1. NOTE: make sure not to get any on the body of the rods because this will ruin the paint process
    2. NOTE: Don't screw on pieces too tight because adjustments will be made to keep the table level
  9. Legs
    1. End caps connect to 8"
      1.
    2. 8" connect to either extreme end of the tee brackets
      1.
    3. The Tee other extreme of the Tee bracket is connected to 16"
      1.
    4. Flanges are connected to the end of 8"
      1.
  10. Middle Support (Refer to image in section 9.iii)
    1. Middle part of the Tee bracket is connected to 6" facing inwards
    2. the other end of the 6" is connected to either extreme of a Tee bracket
    3. Connect the opposing 6" to the opposite extreme of the tee bracket
    4. The middle part of the Tee brackets connect to the 48"
  11. After everything is as assembled, measure the lengths of the legs and screw in/unscrew leg parts to make the frame level.
    1. Place a table top on the frame and use level to make sure everything is in order
  12. After all this, lay a long enough piece of cardboard outside and place the frame on it for painting
  13. Apply two coats while letting the frame dry between coats
  14. Bring frame inside
  15. Lay a large piece of cardboard down that's  long enough to fit the table top
  16. Lay the table top upside down and place the painted frame on it; flanges touching the bottom of the table top
  17. center the frame using the measuring tape
  18. Using a 7/64" drill bit, make a preliminary whole, then introduce the 1 1/4" screws.
    1. Do not drill too far so you don't breach the other side of the table top
    2. Do this step for each individual screw because the flanges may move around when the screws are placed.
    3. Use the power drill to screw in the 1 1/4" until the first time the drill skips, then use a manual phillips head to finish the job because using the drill the entire time may strip the screws
  19. Flip the table over when done and check for balance. Readjust parts if necessary
    1.

Step back and marvel at your super awesome sturdy mega industrial but contemporary table!
